After waiting out a 3+ hour delay early in his round, Webb Simpson got his putter to heat up on the back 9 on Sunday at RBC Heritage to propel him to a tournament record of 22 under to win and beat Abraham Ancer by a stroke. This was Simpson’s 7th win on the PGA Tour.

Covid-19 has reached the ranks of the PGA Tour. Nick Watney, after testing negative on Tuesday had symptoms on Friday and then tested positive for the virus. He immediately withdrew from the tournament and went into self quarantine immediately for 10 days. Those golfers who had close contact with Watney over those days were testing again and all were negative.
