A Lim Kim birdied her final three holes to win the 2020 U.S. Women’s Open by one stroke over Jin Young Ko and Amy Olson on Monday at the Champions Golf Club in Houston. The 4th round was postponed to Monday due to hard hitting rain one hour into the beginning of the Sunday round.

Matthew Fitzpatrick steadied his nerves to claim victory in the DP World Tour Championship. Lee Westwood won the season long Race to Dubai by just 17.8 points.

Fitzpatrick secured the first prize of £2.2 million thanks to a closing 68 which left him 15 under par and a shot clear of Westwood, with Patrick Reed and Viktor Hovland another stroke back.

Outright second was enough for Westwood to ndge Fitzpatrick for the Harry Vardon Trophy by just 17.8 points, with long-time leader Reed pushed down to third place.

The European Tour has one more event for 2020 – the Australian PGA Championship on December 19-22. Then they return on January 6 for the South African Open.

The PGA Tour is off until January 7 for the Sentry Tournament of Champions. The LPGA doesn’t return until January 16 when they play the Diamond Resorts Tournament.
