In Sun City where Alex Noren posted his 4th victory of the year on the European Tour. He ended the Nedbank Golf Challenge by a staggering 6 stokes over the field.

Pat Perez won the OHL Classic in Mayakoba for his 2nd career PGA Tour victory (and first since 2009). The victory came after coming back from season-ending shoulder injury and surgery which saw Perez only play 11 events early in the 2015/2016 wraparound season.

Staying on the LPGA, we say good-bye to Canadian Hall of Famer Dawn Coe-Jones who passed away this weekend at the age of 56. She was a staple on the LPGA Tour for quite some time and she had 3 tour victories to her credit.

The Champions Tour season wrapped up this past weekend with two title winners.

* Berhard Langer won the full season long Charles Schwab Cup for the 3rd year in a row and 4th time overall.
