The “Mechanic” has done it again, Miguel Angel Jimenez has posted another win at the age of 50. After finishing in 4th place at the Masters five weeks ago, he joined the Champions Tour and won his first event on tour. Then he goes back across the pond, gets married two weeks ago and yesterday he wins the Open de Espana on the first playoff hole.

On the Champions Tour, Kenny Perry made it three straight Majors for him in the last year. His only miss was the Senior British Open which he skipped. Both the PGA and LPGA Tour events were again won by first timers: Brendan Todd and Lisette Salas respectively. Before Todd took the lead and held it at -14, the event was like a Nascar race with different leaders virtually every hour on Sunday. That wasn’t the case with Salas who stayed steady and kept a firm lead all day long.
