No one would be surprised to hear Danny Lee sing this John Denver tune now. After all, West Virginia is now the location of his first PGA Tour win. He won a 2 hole playoff against David Hearn to win the Greenbrier Classic in White Sulphur Springs WV. The playoff started with 4 golfers (Lee, Hearn, Robert Streib and Kevin Kisner). Lee and Hearn each birdied the par 3 18th to move on to the 2nd playoff hole (par 5, 17th). Hearn ran into trouble with his tee shot landing behind a large tee creating essentially a punch out 2nd shot. His 4th shot to the green was a beauty as it landed by the hole but unfortunately for him, it didn’t hold and ran off the back of the green. He finished with a bogie. Lee made the green in 3 and two putted for the win.
