A dominating 7 stroke victory at the Quail Hollow Club made Rory the only two time winner at the Wells Fargo Championship. Not only did he post the record for the largest winning margin at the event, his  267 easily broke the 4 round record held be Anthony Kim and his 61 on the Saturday round set a new course and event record. I guess one word can describe it all:  IMPRESSIVE.

LPGA Tour: For the third time this season, a rookie notches her first win. This time is was Australian Minjee Lee winning the Kingsmill Championship. Due to darkness on Sunday, the event was a Monday finish meaning Minjee had to sleep on a 4 stroke lead. She had a triple bogie on her first Monday hole but was able to quickly straighten out and went on for the victory.

European Tour: A 69 on Sunday was all that James Morrison needed to post the victory.

Web.com Tour: The BMW Charity Pro-AM was won by Rod Pampling. The biggest news of the weekend at the event was created by ex PGA Tour player Roland Thatcher. It came on the 18th hole on Saturday as his birdie attempt went 11 feet, 11 inches. Why is this news? Had it gone another inch, he would have shot the coveted “59.”
