It has been 18 months since Rory McIlroy picked up a victory check on the PGA Tour. He did it at the Wells Fargo Championship at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, NC. This was his third win at the event (2010 and 2015 previously). He hasn’t been able to string 4 solid rounds together. In fact, it was his first cut made since March missing the cut at the Players, WGC-Dell Match Play, and the Masters.

The Seniors were at the Regions Tradition where Alex Cejka shot 18 under 270 and then went on to win the first playoff hole with a birdie over Steve Stricker.

Garrick Higgo went low (27 under) at the Canary Islands Championship to run away from the field. He ended up 6 strokes ahead of runner up Maverick Antcliff.

In Thailand, Ariya Juntanugarn shot a -22 to win the Honda LPGA Thailand event by 1 shot.
