FedEx Cup: Billy Horschel, who could be the hottest player in golf in the past month, posted a relatively stress-free round of 68 to win both the Tour Championship by three shots and take home the FedEx Cup. He pocketed $1.44 million for winning the Tour Championship also picked up a cool $10 million for winning the FedEx cup. NICE !!!
Euro Tour: The KLM Championship was won by Paul Casey with a final round 66.
LPGA Tour: Hyo Joo Kim (Korea) was the star at the Evian Championship. Not only did she win, she set a record by posting a 61 on the first day. No one has ever posted that low of a round at a Major (Men’s or Women’s). To win, the 19 year old had to drop a 12 ft birdie putt on the 72nd hole to best Karrie Webb.
Symetra Tour: Min Lee of Taiwan won the Garden City (Kansas) Charity Classic.
Web.com Tour: European star Richard Sterne bogied 15-17 down the stretch to give up a 3 stroke lead and let Justin Thomas back door into the winner’s circle. It was Thomas’ first pro tour win.
