Over the last two weeks, two unsuspecting players emerged to victory.

At the Rocket Mortgage Classic, Nate Lashley (ranked 353 in the OWGR) got into the event as an alternate and then went wire-to-wire for a 6 stroke win. With the win he jumped up to OWGR ranking of 101.

Then at the following week’s 3M Championship, Matthew Wolffe in his fourth PGA tour start, took the title with a 72nd hole eagle to best Collin Morikawa and Bryson DeChambeau. Prior to the event, he was ranked 1659 in OWGR and moved all the way up to #135.

Steve Stricker got some redemption from kicking away the PGA Tour Champions event with a wire-to-wire win at hte US Seniors Open.

On the European Tour, the Dubai Duty Free Irish Open was the stop. Jon Rahm came from 5 strokes off the lead on Sunday to win. He shot 8 under to bypass the field.

Over the last 2 weeks, the Ladies had two events. Sung Hyun Park made a kick-in birdie to with the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship and avoid a playoff.

Shenshan Feng got her first win in almost 2 years at the Thornberry Creek LPGA Classic with a 1 stroke finish over Ariya Jutanugarn.
