What a beginning to the 2017 portion of the PGA Tour schedule. Justin Thomas wins the first two events – Tournament of Champions and SONY Open – and along the way he becomes the youngest player to ever post a sub 60 round on tour.

At the Tournament of Champions event, he posted a 22 Under to beat Hideki Matsuyama by 3 strokes.

At the SONY Open, he shot a 27 under to best the field by 7 strokes. Runner up was Justin Rose. Thomas’ 253 total is a new PGA Tour 72 hole record.

He now has 3 victories in his last 4 starts (the 3rd win being at the CIMB Classic this past fall).

On the Euro Tour, Graeme Storm took the BMW SA Open title by beating Rory McIlroy on the 3rd playoff hole.
