The first event of the 2015/2016 PGA Tour Wrap-around season is in the books. The Frys.com event at the Silverado Resort North course in Napa, CA was won by Argentinian Emiliano Grillo. This was his first start on the PGA Tour after graduating from the Web.com Tour. Grillo won with a 25 ft birdie on the 2nd hole of a playoff with Kevin Na.

LPGA Tour: The ladies were in Incheon, Korea for the LPGA KEB Hana Bank Championship. Lexi Thompson broke from a crowded leaderboard to win by 1 stroke over Yani Tseng ans Sung Hyun Park.

Champions Tour: San Antonio TX was the site for Bernard Langer’s 25th Champions Tour victory. Langer birdied the last 2 holes to post a 3 stroke victory over Scott Dunlap. Langer had previously lost playoffs at the TPC San Antonio’s Canyon course back in 2013 to Kenny Perry and to David Frost in 2012.

European Tour: Andy Sullivan (England) walked away with an easy victory at the Portugal Masters in Vilamoura, Portugal. He posted a 9 stroke margin over countryman Chris Wood.

Fuji Invitational: Matt Kuchar finally returned to the winner’s circle with a 4 stroke victory over Australia’s Aron Price. Local favorite Vijay Singh shot a final round 65 to climb into 3rd place along with Ryan Fox (New Zealand) and Nick Cullen (Australia).
