The European Ryder Cup Team had the mojo and was totally comfortable on the Le Golf National course in Paris. The team had the chemistry the US Ryder Cup Team didn’t in the 17 1/2 to 10 1/2 blow out win.  Some say the course set up favored the Euro Team with its narrow fairways and difficult rough. It may be true but that is the fault of the US Team not adapting their game from bombing away to a more controlled play.

Three of the biggest names on the US Team – Woods, Mickelson and Dustin Johnson – went 1-10-0 over the 3 day event (DJ getting the 1 winning point).

Only the positive results of Justin Thomas (4-1-0) and Webb Simpson (2-1-0) put a small plus on a very negative performance. The two represented 6 of the total 10 1/2 points the US Team put on the board.

The Euro Team had a lot to smile and cheer about as Fransisco Molinari went 5-0-0, Henrik Stenson went 4-0-0 and Tommy Fleetwood went 4-1-0. When paired together, Molinari and Fleetwood swept their matched.
