Scottie Scheffler took the Arnold Palmer Invitational title for his second win in the last 3 evenst (WM Phoenix Open was the other). Course conditions were very tough with baked out greens and swirling winds. On Sunday, only 4 of the 77 players were able to finish the round under par. Scheffler’s 5 under was one better than Tyrrell Hatton, Billy Horschel, Viktor Hovland and two better that Chris Kirk and Gary Woodland.

In much calmer conditions, Ryan Brehm won the Puerto Rico Open. This was a critical event for Brehm who had to win or finish 2nd to retain his PGA Tour card.

Jin Young Ko posted a -17 271 to win the HSBC Women’s World Championship. She won with a 2 stroke lead over Minjee Lee and In Gee Chun.
