After many months dealing with knee and hip injuries and missing his last 3 cuts, people were wondering what the future held for Brooks Koepka. Well, wonder no more. He played well over the weekend to come from off the pace to win the Waste Management Phoenix Open with a 1 stroke finish ahead of KH Lee and Xander Schauffele. He made a barrage of birdies and one fantastic 98 foot chip in at the 17th hole for each on the par 4.

Across the pond, another American fared well. Dustin Johnson won the Saudi International for the second time in three years. This marked the 9th European Tour win and solidified his hold on the OWGR #1 position. He has now won 3 times in his last 8 events and has only been outside the top 10 once in the last 6 months (an 11th place finish in last month’s Sentry Tournament of Champions).
