After a 4 year win drought, 40 year old Matt Kuchar has notched his 2nd win in his last 3 events. After losing the lead early in the 4th round, a barrage of birdies down the stretch at the Sony Open propelled Kuchar to a 4 stroke win over Andrew Putnam with several other players tied 5 strokes back. This was Kuchar’s ninth win on the PGA Tour.
