Jordan Spieth quickly ended the playoff against Daniel Berger at the Travelers Championship by holing out a greenside bunker shot for a birdie. Both Spieth and Berger finished at -12 to force the one hole playoff. This was Spieth’s 10 PGA Tour victory. He is now the second younger tour member to reach that victory total (Tiger Woods being the youngest by 4 months).

The LPGA’s Walmart NW Arkansas Championship went to So Yeon Ryu (-18). She beat both Amy Yang and Moriya Jutanugarn by 2 strokes.

Andres Romero (-17) took the BMW International Open title with a Sunday round of 65 to win his first title on the European Tour in nearly 10 years. He finished 1 stroke better than Sergio Garcia, Richard Bland and Thomas Detry.

Seven weeks off didn’t hurt Fred Couples as the shot a -15 to beat Scott Verplank for the American Family Insurance Championship.
