Ashleigh Buhai became the first woman to win a major championship at Muirfield where the AIG Women’s British Open was being played. Despite a messy final three holes, she ended up in a tie with In-gee Chun and a playoff followed. They played 3 holes even and then Chun bogied the 4th playoff hole and Buhai finished with a par to get the win.

Joohyung (Tom) Kim shot a 27 on the front 9 on Sunday to vault into the lead and never looked back at the Wyndham Championship. He posted a 9 under 61 in route to a 20 under final score and 5 strokes ahead of John Huh and Sung-jae Im.
