Bryson DeChambeau took over the lead mid way through the 3rd round and never looked back. He won the first of the four FEDEX Cup events – the Northern Trust – by 4 strokes over Tony Finau. With the win, he took over the #1 spot in FEDEX Cup points. Next up is the Dell Technologies Championship.

LPGA’s Brooke Henderson won the CP Women’s Open in her home country of Canada. She became the first Canadian to win the country’s national open since 1973 with a 4 stroke victory over Angel Yin.

On the European Tour, Andrea Pavin got his first tour victory at the D&D Chech Masters with 5 birdies on the back 9 Sunday to overtake Padraig Harrington for the win.
