PGA TOUR: Bill Haas held off a crowded leaderboard to win his second time at this event. Haas now has 6 wins on the PGA tour since 2010. The only other tour members to have 6 or more wins in the same time frame are Tiger and Phil. That’s pretty elite company. Now can he step up and make a run at any of the Majors. It is hard to believe that he has never finished in the top 10 at any Major (12th at the PGA Championship is the best he has done).

LPGA TOUR: The 2015 season kicks off this week with the inaugural Coates Golf Championship at Golden Ocala in Ocala, Fla. The tournament and venue are new for the LPGA but for some members, the course might feel rather familiar because Golden Ocala has eight holes that are replicas of the some of the most famous in the world.

CHAMPIONS TOUR: Golf must be better with a Cigar and Wine because “The Mechanic” has done it again. He has won 2 of his 3 starts on the SENIOR circuit. Miguel Angel Jimenez won this past weekend at the Mitsubuishi. He also won the Greater Gwinnett Championship last year, a week after finishing fourth in the Masters. In his other Champions Tour start, he tied for eighth in the Senior British Open in July. In May, he won the Spanish Open at 50 years, 133 days to break his own record as the oldest European Tour champion.

EUROPEAN TOUR: Brandon Grace won the Qutar Masters. Besides winning he as one of the best golf shots so far in this year. In the third round of the Qatar Masters, Grace found himself surrounded by trees and in the sand on the fifth hole, yet somehow pulled off this incredible virtually blind snap-hooked wedge shot to within feet of the pin.
