On Saturday, March 28 we were able to complete the awarding of a set of irons from our January 2nd drawing. As announced in our January newsletter, the winner was Mike Hickey from Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. Saturday was Mike’s arrival day for his group’s golf trip to Myrtle Beach.

Mike met Myrtle Beach Golfmasters’ Drew Richmond at the PGA Tour Super Store in Myrtle Beach. Mike proceeded to select a set of Ping Irons from the vast array of sets available at the store. The set of clubs included 2 hybrids (3 and 4) as well as irons 5 through Sand Wedge. Mike then proceeded over to the hitting area of the store where he was fitted for the exact model of Ping clubs best suited for his swing. The set will be customized for Mike by Ping and shipped to his home.

Mike’s name was pulled as a random selection from all of the group leaders who booked their winter/spring 2015 golf trip with Myrtle Beach Golfmasters by December 31, 2014. We will be doing the contest again for summer/fall 2015 golf trip bookings.
