Collin Morikawa won the Open Championship with a steady bogie free 4th round to finish 15 under and 2 strokes ahead of Jordan Spieth. Louis Oosthuizen who was the leader over the first 3 rounds, fell back to 3rd place in a tie with Jon Rahm.
Morikawa became the first PGA Tour player to win two different Majors in his first attempt.

Seamus Power got his first PGA Tour victory with a win at the Barbasol Championship. He outlasted JT Poston in a 6 hole playoff.

Moriya and Ariya Jutanugarn teamed up at the Dow Great Lakes Bay National to win the Best Ball event. The sisters finish 24 under bolstered by two rounds of 59 with the second coming in the last round.
