Jhonny Vegas successfully defended his Canadian Open title with a playoff win over Charlie Hoffmann. Vegas’ win at Glen Abby Golf Club certainly could signal his love for the course as he hadn’t been playing very well of late – missing the cut in 8 of his last 10 events.

The Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open didn’t have to go to a playoff because Mi Hyang Lee birdied the last hole to edge out both MJ Hur and Karrie Webb at the Dundonald Links course.

Down in Wales was the site for the Seniors Open Championship. Bernhard Langer continued his dominance in Majors as he won his 3rd Major of the year and his 10th overall. He beat Corey Pavin by 3 strokes and they were the only two players under par for the event.

The European Tour was in Germany for the Porsche European Open. Rookie Jordan Smith took down defending champion Alexander Levy with a birder on the 2nd playoff hole to win the title.
