We want to let you know that the Myrtle Beach Golf market is changing for 2017.

The majority of golf courses are going to what is commonly being called “dynamic pricing.” Rates are set based on tee time availability on the tee sheet on a given day. As the tee sheet fills up, the rates go up. This can actually change from tee time to tee time on the same day (i.e., a group of 8 could have one foursome pay more for a tee time than the other foursome even though they are consecutive tee times).

What this means for you is that the earlier you book your golf, the lower your price is likely to be. You will also enjoy a better selection of tee times available.

We have not seen any lodging properties attempt this yet, but we have been told that some are contemplating doing this also.

If you are considering returning to Myrtle Beach in 2017 let us know your dates, courses that interest you, lodging requirements (if needed) and we will get you out some options. A per person budget is helpful if you don’t have “must play” courses.

We know it seems early but we are doing what we can to hopefully save you some money on your golf trip.
