Bryson DeChambeau used his bulked up strength to master the Winged Foot course to win the US Open. This was despite the USGA’s attempt to make the course extremely difficult. Not being able to see his shoes in the high and heavy rough didn’t seem to phase DeChambeau as he powered to a – 6 to win. Everyone else in the field was at par or higher. He was the only golfer to play all 4 rounds at even par or better in winning his first Major.
