Brendon Todd (a year removed from almost quitting the game because of the yipes) has now won back to back events on the PGA Tour. Two weeks ago, he won the Bermuda Championship. Now he has won the Mayakoba Golf Classic with a 1 stroke victory over Vaughn Taylor, Carlos Ortiz and Adam Long.

At the beginning of the year, Todd was ranked #2006 in the OWGR. He subsequently secured full status on the PGA Tour via the Korn Ferry Finals. With the win at Bermuda, he ended a 5 year victory drought.

Tommy  Fleetwood made 3 eagles during a 6 hole stretch on Sunday to win the Nedback Golf Classic in a playoff with Marcus Kinhult.
