Justin Thomas, after 2 difficult months of personal issues, played lights out over the weekend to pick up The Players Championship trophy. He started Saturday’s round 7 strokes off the lead. Putting together a 64-68 weekend, he move to the lead on the back 9 Sunday. For the 2nd week in a row, Lee Westwood held the 54 hole lead but again could not finish the deal and ended up 1 stroke behind Thomas as he played even par on Sunday. Finishing 2 strokes behind Thomas were Brian Harman and Bryson DeChambeau.

The European Tour played the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters where Antoine Rozner dropped a 60 foot putt on the last hole to take the title for his 2nd win in his last 6 events.
