Just as Arnold Palmer did so often, Francesco Molinari put on a show on Sunday coming from 5 strokes off the lead to win by 2 strokes. He had a hot putter on his way to a closing 64 to paste the rest of the field. Matthew Fitzpatrick, the 54 hole leader, couldn’t get going and finished his Sunday round 1 under to take sole second place.

On the Champions Tour, Kirk Triplett outlasted Woody Austin to win the Hoag Classic in a 2 hole playoff.

The European Tour was at the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters. Justin Harding birdied three of his last four holes to win his first  European Tour victory. He finished 2 strokes ahead of 9 players.
