Congratulations are certainly due for J.B. Holmes. Three years removed from 2 brain surgeries, J.B. has made the long road back into the winner’s circle at the Wells Fargo event in Charlotte. It wasn’t easy down the stretch. He bogeyed both the 16th and 18th holes and sank a shaky 8 footer on the 17th for par.

Trivia History: Who has the most expensive missed putt on the PGA Tour?   The answer is Angel Cabrera. At last year’s Masters, he missed a 15 foot putt on the second playoff hole and lost to Adam Scott.  The winner’s check was $1,440,000 and poor Angel walked off with just $864,000 – a difference of $576,000. WOW !!!!
