At the Valero Texas Open, Andrew Landry held part of the 54 hole lead going into Sunday. With 4 birdies in his first 6 holes, he took the lead and never looked back to win his first PGA Tour victory. He beat Trey Mullinax and Sean O’Hair by two strokes.

On the LPGA Tour, Moriya Jutanugarn scored her first tour victory at the Hugel-JTBC LA Open by a stroke over Inbee Park and Jin Young Ko. With the win Moriya and her sister Ariya became the second set of sisters to win on the LPGA Tour. The first set of sisters where the Sorenstams – Annika and Charlotte.

The European Tour was in Morocco where Alexander Levy posted a 1 stoke victory over Alvaro Quinos to win the Trophee Hassan II.
