After 118 events on Tour, PGA veteran Carlos Ortiz finally got his first win. He posted a 7 under 65 on Sunday to beat Dustin Johnson and Hideki Matsuyama by 2 strokes at the Vivint Houston Open. Ortiz birdied the last hole to lock up the victory.

At the Charles Schwab Cup Championship, the event was to be 54 holes. After Sunday’s round, Kevin Sutherland and Paul Broadhurst were tied for the lead. They played 6 more holes remaining tied and out of daylight. They returned on Monday to play another 3 holes where Sutherland birdied to finally win.

Robert MacIntyre posted a 264 to win the Aphrodite Hills Cyprus Showdown on the European Tour.
