Two starts on the Champions Tour has resulted in two wins for Phil Mickelson. Unlike his inaugural win back in August when he lapped the field, this time Mickelson had to battle another lefty – Mike Weir. He started Sunday 3 strokes behind Weir but quickly picked up those strokes on the front 9. He went on to post an impressive 7 under for a 3 stroke win over Weir. Mickelson now joins Jim Furyk and Bruce Fleisher as the only players to win their first two events on the Champions Tour.

The PGA Tour’s CJ Cup was moved back to the U.S. to Las Vegas due to Covid 19. That became a good move for Jason Kokrak as he won his first PGA Tour victory after 232 starts. Kokrak posted a course record tying 8 under on Sunday to win by 2 strokes over Xander Schauffele.

Across the pond, Frenchman Adrian Otaegui won the Scottish Championship for his 3rd European Tour victory.
