It is hard to believe that Charl Schwartzel hasn’t won a PGA Tour event since his 2011 Masters victory. Well, the drought is over with his first playoff hole victory over Bill Haas at the Valspar Championship. Schwartzel came from 5 strokes off the lead to match Haas (who faltered down the stretch).

The True Thailand Classic title was taken by Australian Scott Hend by a stroke over the local favorite – Piya Swangarunporn.
