With his win at the Travelers Championship, Chez Reavie gets his first victory since his win at the 2008 RBC Canadian Open. A back-nine 28 on Saturday left Reavie with a 6 stroke lead going into Sunday’s round. He needed every stroke. When he and Keegan Bradley reached the 8th tee box, the 6 stroke lead was still entact. When they got to the 17th tee, the lead was down to 1 stroke. This is where the tournament was won. Bradley played the hole badly posting a double bogie when Reavie got up and down with a birdie to stretch the lead to 4 strokes. Reavie then parred the 18th for the win.

Another great finish on the LPGA Tour occurred on Sunday at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship. Hannah Green (2nd year tour member) made her par putt on 18 to finish 9 under and 1 stroke ahead of last year’s winner, Sung Hyan Park. The Major was Green’s first victory on tour.

Andrea Pavan won the BMW International Open by beating Matthew Fitzpatrick on the 2nd playoff hole.
