Jon Rahm’s stay on the top of the OWGR only lasted 2 weeks. With the win at the World Golf Championship – St Jude’s, Justin Thomas took over the number 1 ranking. With the win, Thomas now has 3 victories in the current season. He beat Brooks Koepka by three strokes and Koepka made a mess of the final hole. Also tied for 2nd was Phil Mickelson, Daniel Berger and Tom Lewis. Again, Brendan Todd failed to hold his lead after 54 holes.

This is the second time Thomas has reached the #1 spot. He held it for 4 weeks in mid-2018.
