Sea Trail Byrd

Sea Trail Byrd Golf Course

The Byrd course is one of three at the Sea Trail Resort. These courses have hosted the PGA Tour’s Carolina Open and the Carolina Pro Am. Each golf course is named after the person who designed it. In this case, it is Willard Byrd.

Opened in the Fall of 1990, each hole of the Willard Byrd Golf Course is memorable for both beauty and exacting play. Built around several man-made lakes, each ranging from 14-20 acres, every hole of this par-72 signature course requires a distinctly difference approach. The Byrd golf course features large and undulating greens and plush fairways. There are water hazards that could come into play on a half of the holes if you don’t keep the ball in play. The course has 5 tee boxes and can play any where from 3,552 yards to 6.658 yards.
