Oyster Bay

Oyster Bay Golf Links

Oyster Bay Golf Links is one of the most beautiful and diversified golf courses that you can find. The fairways have generous landing areas, and the large greens are undulating. There are marshes and lakes that come into play on fifteen holes. The golf course was built on rolling hills, so carts are mandatory. This golf course has two signature holes. One is hole #13, a 330-yard, par 4, featuring a lake that skirts the entire right side of the fairway, and requiring an approach shot to a wickedly undulating green resting against an oyster shell wall that rises out of the lake. The other signature hole is #17, a 165-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot from an oyster shell-walled tee box to an island green built on a mountain of shells. “Golf Digest” rated this golf course as the 2nd “Best Public golf course” in the state for 1996, and 45th among the “Top 75 Public golf courses” for 1990.
