Oak Island

Oak Island Golf Club

The Oak Island Golf Club opened in 1962 and welcomes you to a coastal Carolina golfing experience. Located on Caswell Beach on Oak Island, it is often included in the list of 30 hidden gem courses in North Carolina. The course requires some game management as it offers narrow, mid sized and wide fairways. Sometimes you can bomb away with your driver and sometimes you’ll have to reach into the bag for another club. Water hazards are minimal with only six that are in play.

Being just off the beach, the sea breeze frequently comes into play. The 18-hole, 6,700+ yard George Cobb design includes 5 different tee boxes to provide golfers with the appropriate playing distance for their game.
